Cell Biologist

Job Description
- Responsible for performing routine cell operations including passaging, cryopreservation, thawing, and expansion to ensure cell viability and stability.
- Responsible for preparing culture media, buffers, and other experimental reagents, strictly adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Responsible for monitoring cell growth status, conducting regular microscopic observations, and documenting morphological changes.
- Responsible for testing cells for mycoplasma, bacterial, or fungal contamination, and promptly addressing abnormal situations. Uses methods such as Trypan Blue staining and flow cytometry to assess cell viability and proliferation capacity.
- Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of experimental equipment.
- Responsible for managing inventory of cell lines, reagents, and consumables. Timely orders and inspects new batches of materials, verifying lot numbers and expiry dates to prevent the use of expired or abnormal materials.
- Responsible for meticulously documenting experimental steps, observations, and anomalies to ensure data traceability.
- Performs other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications (Age, Education, Gender, Skills, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
- Proficient in cell culture techniques; familiar with the latest advancements and applications in cellular immunology, medical cell biology, and related fields.
- Demonstrates a rigorous work attitude, a spirit of inquiry, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills; responsible, self-motivated, team-oriented, and possesses strong execution abilities.
- Meticulous, diligent, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
